Thani Oruvan is the product of Mohan Raja. This film is the first original success for him as this raised from his individuality. He has left all his audience with a surprise by giving a film of cop with full of twists and turns.
The entire film runs with the key sentence of "Tell me who is your enemy.. We will tell you who are you and what are you capable for".
Story starts with the introduction of the villain rather than hero's. Mithran, from his IPS training, was so patriotic and searching for a good enemy who is matching his capabilities. While undergoing training, like-minded guys joins as his friends played by Ganesh Venkatraman, Harish Uthaman, Sricharan and Saiju Kurup. He was supported by his friends through out his operations.
Siddharth abimanyu was undergoing a medical mafia and uses his power to stop bringing general medicines from foreign to India as it will affect the private pharma business. Also, he has political powers which he uses for his atrocity, of course, with the help of henchmen.
After finalizing his enemy as siddharth abimanyu, he started a mission against him. Many thrilling events and twists and turns happens in his operations. But, he succeeds in his battle with his power, wise and prudent activity and sincerity.
Both the characters were so vibrant and kept crowd with full of energy. Many nail biting scenes kept the audience with curiosity and to sit in the edge of their seat.
Every others in the cast are equally impressive. Thambi Ramaiah as the timid and terrified father of Arvind swamy played immensely good. Hindi actress Mugdha Godse, who has been paired opposite Arvind Swamy has not much to do.
Music by Hip Hop Tamizha, Adhi adds to the excitement for the story, camerawork by Ramji was so skilled and adds up still more grip to the movie.
Despite all these technical applause, it is undoubtedly the clear and flawless writing, good characterization and execution by the director scores high and makes the movie so electrifying. Swift screenplay makes the movie even more powerful and energetic.
Though the film is a conventional battle between good and evil, the contemporary twists and technical brilliance made this film to the new level.
