It's still okay...!!!

Indian Bloggers

Nights are moving so long
Fighting with unbearable pain
Filled with sufferings and distress
Started shooting questions to God
Why me ? Am I the last person in the world?
Will I not recover from hear?
As usual, no answers received
pain reached its crest
higher and higher its growing
at the last, there was a cry
Everything vanished in a moment
I felt that those pain was all a gain
I got relieved..!!!
I started enjoying the moment..!!
My heart and body headed saying
It's still okay..!!!

Mysore - A perfect city

Though we have traveled to many places, some place remains close to our heart. We all used to long for such places badly. Recollecting those memories will be the awesome part which makes us in delight all the times.

One such city is Mysore. Very often, we will be at that place.

Most of us will spot the mysore palace whenever we say the name as Mysore. It is very astonishing place. but, this is not the only place in mysore.

Mysore is famous for many things. The list includes Chamundeeswari temple, Mysore palace, Tippu sultan fort, Mysore silks, Mysore sweets. Mysore has one of the best city transportation systems in India

The Kingdom of Mysore was ruled by the Wodeyar dynasty, except for a short period in the late 18th century when Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan were in power. Patrons of art and culture, the Wodeyars contributed significantly to the cultural growth of the city. The cultural ambience and achievements of Mysore earned it the sobriquet Cultural capital of South Karnataka.

Mysore is noted for its palaces, including the Mysore Palace, and for the festivities that take place during the Dasara festival when the city receives a large number of tourists. It lends its name to the Mysore style of painting, the sweet dish Mysore Pak, the Mysore Peta (a traditional silk turban) and the garment known as the Mysore silk saree.

Tourism was the major industry there whereas now information technology too has emerged as a major employer alongside the traditional industries. Infosys too has its training campus there.

Infosys campus Mysore

For the attraction of tourists, we have plenty of unique places there. If we are going to be specific, we can say sand museum and Melody World Wax Museum which is so stunning.

The museum fascinates visitors through its display of various musical instruments in interesting settings, replete with life size wax statues of musicians playing the musical instruments. Since the museum is based on music and musical instruments, it reflects the diverse kinds of musical instruments that have been in use across various parts of the country and the world since ancient times. This is a one-of-its kind wax museum in the whole world. The museum was established in October 2010 by a Bengaluru based IT professional named Shreeji Bhaskaran. It was created as a tribute to musicians from all over the world.

Mysore Sand Sculpture Museum developed by Ms. Gowri with the help of her family. It is an array of sand sculptures under one roof. A 15-ft high sand statue of a Lord Ganesh welcomes visitors to the museum.

Other sculptures include Goddess Chamundeshwari, Laughing Buddha, Dasara procession, the late Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar seated on the throne during Dasara, zodiac wheel, a striking work of ‘Gitopadesha’ with Lord Krishna and Arjuna on a horse-drawn chariot, ancient civilization, marine life, Disneyland, Islamic culture, a Christmas tree, Santa Claus and wildlife. This is the permanent museum of sand sculptures, protected from the sun and rain.

The city also has its Krishnarajasagara dam with its attractive Brindavan garden. The dam is across the kaveri river in the city of mysore.

Finally, this is a city with many attraction, well maintained infrastructure, good transportation, fine design and best connectivity. Overall, Mysore is the perfect city which is so close to my heart.

On the fast track to end AIDS: World Aids Day 2015

It is on 1st of December on every year, the world AIDS day has been celebrated. It is one of the public health campaign initiated by WHO. From 1988, we have been following this day and having a campaign to educate all. Main objective of this day is to make the people educate and give a change in their response towards the HIV affected people.

What is HIV/AIDS?

Human immunodeficiency virus infection(HIV) / Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) is caused by the infection with the human immunodeficiency virus. HIV is transmitted primarily via unprotected sexual intercourse, contaminated blood transfusions, hypodermic needles, and from mother to child during pregnancy, delivery, or breastfeeding

Unlike most contagious diseases (colds, flus, measles, etc.), AIDS is not transmitted easily. It cannot be passed to other persons through sneezing, coughing, eating or drinking from common utensils, or merely being around an infected person. The main point which everyone must know is that our casual contact with HIV infected persons does not place us at risk. AIDS is not transmitted through air, food, or water, or by touching any object handled, touched, or breathed on by a person with an HIV/AIDS infection.

It is passed from person to person through blood, semen, vaginal fluid, and breast milk. Anyone, of any gender, age, race, or sexuality can get HIV. There is no cure or vaccine; however, antiretroviral treatment can slow the course of the disease and may lead to a near-normal life expectancy. While antiretroviral treatment reduces the risk of death and complications from the disease, these medications are expensive and have side effects. Treatment is recommended as soon as the diagnosis is made.

Without treatment, the average survival time after infection with HIV is estimated to be 9 to 11 years, depending on the HIV subtype.

AIDS was first recognized by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 1981 and its cause—HIV infection—was identified in the early part of the decade. Since its discovery, AIDS has caused several millions deaths world wide.

HIV/AIDS has had a great impact on society, both as an illness and as a source of discrimination. It has attracted international medical and political attention as well as large-scale funding since it was identified in the 1980s.

Each and every year, there will be a theme for celebrating World Aids Day. The theme of this year, 2015, is: Getting to zero; end Aids by 2030. The federal theme this year is: The time to act is now.

Both themes comply with UNAIDS's fast-track strategy to end the Aids epidemic by 2030.

To be followed by us:

As mentioned above, one part is assured. AIDS is not easily transmittable disease. Greatest myth is pursued for a long time. When we touch the person affected by AIDS, we will be a victim of it.

"HIV does not make people dangerous to know, so you can shake their hands and give them a hug: Heaven knows they need it."Princess Diana

The sad part which we need to focus is, many children who did not commit any mistake, they are suffering from this incurable disease because of their parents. We can't give their life back. But, we can give them our care and affection which can make a change in their life. For sure, we can't cure the person or child who is suffering from AIDS. But, we can care for them, give them our love and affection which they need. At least, for time being of their living, they can have peace of mind.

All are human beings living around us. We can start sharing our love and affection which is so valuable for them. Instead of judging them, start loving them. “If you judge people you have no time to love them"

We all can start spreading our love and care, instead of, spreading discrimination.

Inji Iduppazhagi Review

Cast: Anushka Shetty, Arya, Sonal Chauhan
Production: PVP Cinema
Direction: Prakash Kovelamudi
Screenplay & Story: Kanika Dhillon
Music & Background score: MM Keeravani

The movie revolves around the major problem which every youngsters faces, women in particular. Obesity. This problems creates a big panic in many souls and they wish their excess fat to get dissolved overnight. Though they are aware of fact that it is absurd, depression occupies them pushing them to try some weird things.

Every victim will be attracted towards the instant solution. They will forget the fact that only slow and steady wins the race. They will be in a hurry to solve the problem and follow the instant solution which will end up with still more disasters.

This problem is focused in the movie and good message is revealed.

Anushka is the victim of the obese person. Her mother, Urvasi is so worried about her marriage as every Indian woman does. She insists her daughter continuously to take some proper action for reducing her weight. Anushka follows it so reluctantly and follows her improper diet.

She meet Arya at one instant. Though she didn't liked him for the first time, she loves him as she moves with him. One stage came where she loses him because of her weight.

At that time, Size zero, a world famous company lead by Prakash raj starts their branch in the city where Anushka's family resides. The advertisements goes viral as it announces weight is reduced with no exercise, no diet and no shed of sweat. This makes so attractive and many obese persons occupies here in spite of its cost. No wonder, urvasi too pushes her daughter to join her. Anushka too is so eager to reduce her weight because of her mother and her lost love.

After Anushka joins, she finds out that some problem is going on in the instant weight loss solution which is provided in Size zero institution.

Did Anushka reduced her weight? Did urvasi found out a good son in law? Did Anushka did any action against Size zero organization? All these questions are well answered by this film.

Anushka plays the lead role. She excelled in her performance as usual and is a big positive for this movie. Arya, played as a guest role. Anushka is filled in each and every frame of the movie and she has justified well.

Lip sink is a quite negative for this movie. Screenplay could have been even more crisp.

Otherwise, it could have been a must watch movie. At least for the message it is conveying.

 'Stay fit the healthy way'
